Warner Robins Campus overview
The Warner Robins Campus, Macon State's first permanent campus in Houston County, opened in August 2003. The Campus is located at the corner of University Boulevard and Watson Boulevard, across from City Hall and just a half mile from the main gate at Robins Air Force Base.
The 72-acre Campus features Thomas Hall, Oak Hall, the Academic Services Building and houses the Institute for Business and Information Management. The campus is adjacent to the Nola Brantley Memorial Library. (Click here for campus map.)
Thomas Hall is the former Thomas Elementary School, a Warner Robins landmark dating back to the 1940s. The historic school was completely renovated to become Thomas Hall, which now houses the WRC Student Life Office and classrooms with the latest technology.
The Academic Services Building sits behind Thomas Hall and serves as the main entrance to the campus complex. The building contains administrative offices, faculty offices, technology-driven "smart" classrooms, labs, a multimedia lecture hall, a conference room, and a student lounge/study area.
Oak Hall, opened in July 2009, is the third major structure to be constructed on the Warner Robins Campus. This building houses the Academic Resource Center, the Bookstore, classrooms and faculty offices.
Macon State’s Institute for Business & Information Management, which serves as the College’s technology outreach arm, is also housed at the Warner Robins Campus. The Institute reflects a part of the College’s core mission - providing professional education and serving as an economic development resource for Central Georgia.
Robins Residence Center
In addition to Macon State's campus in Warner Robins, the College continues to offer classes at the Robins Resident Center on Robins Air Force Base. The College has supported the Air Force Mission at Robins AFB since 1970.
Working closely with Base education officials and the command structure, the Resident Center has had a dramatic impact on the level of educational achievement of the military and civilian workforce at Robins.
All military personnel and their dependents, as well as RAFB civilian employees and retirees, are eligible to take RRC classes, which also are open to the general public on a space-available basis.
For information about programs of study, including our business certificate program, visit the RRC in Building 905 or call (478) 327-7307.
