The MSC Recreation & Wellness Program is available to students, faculty, staff, and retirees with a Valid Blue Storm Card who are registered and paid fees for the current semester..
Joining the MSC Recreation and Wellness Program will give you access to the Fitness Center, MSC Intramurals Program, Gym Freeplay, Group Fitness classes, Incentive programs, and many more exciting events. In order to join, fill out a short Par-Q questionnaire and sign a waiver. Then our staff will take you through a 5 minute orientation.
The Par-Q and waiver are available at the Fitness Center front desk during operating hours. Walk-ins are always welcome. The completed form must be turned in to the Recreation & Wellness staff and all participants must complete orientation to the Fitness Center prior to using the facilities.
All students enrolled in non-fully online classes are assessed a Recreation and Wellness Fee of $140.00 per semester. This fee is used to support recreation and wellness activities at Macon State, including the Recreation and Wellness programs, events, organizations, services, and facilities as described in detail in Section II of the Student Handbook and on this website. These programs, events, organizations, services, and facilities are student-centered with students as the primary participants or beneficiaries. Additionally, these funds support the construction and renovation of new and existing facilities at the Macon and Warner Robins campuses. All aspects of the expenditure of the Recreation and Wellness Fee are available to students regardless of race, national origin, color, sex, age, religion or disability. The Student Affairs Committee, which is composed of 50 percent students, recommends an annual expenditure budget to the President of the College.
