Software that is installed and used in classrooms and labs needs to be approved by your department head and then evaluated by OTR for compatibility with existing software. Requests for software installation need to be placed 6 weeks before the begining of the semester that the software will be used.
Schools and departments fund all non-core software, including any supporting hardware, support agreements, annual fees, and training. Please see appendix A of the software policy for a list of core software. Software Policy
