Child Care Information
In order to assist our student-parents, Student Life offers a child-care information service.
There are no facilities for on-campus child care at Macon State, nor does the College sponsor off-campus child care services. However, students requiring assistance in locating suitable child care may use the Student Life Child Care Information Service.
This page has been created as a service to you, our current and future students, as you seek information about child care options in the middle-Georgia area. This is a free service. There is no charge to you, or to the service providers listed on this page.
It is our goal to provide you with as much comprehensive information as possible so that you can make an informed choice regarding child care arrangements. As such, you will find contact information for all licensed child care centers in Baldwin, Bibb, Crawford, Houston, Jones, Monroe, Peach, Pulaski, Putnam, Twiggs, and Wilkinson counties. Also, the Georgia Department of Human Services- Office of Residential Child Care provides a Web site with additional information about area facilities.
Macon State accepts no liability for any agreement, arrangement and/or contract into which you may enter and encourages you to visit this DHR site for tips on how to choose an appropriate child care provider.
