Residence Life Policies

Standards of behavior for residents are clearly defined in the Residence Life Handbook and the Student Code of Conduct.

Residence Life Eligibility

All residents must be accepted to Macon State College and be actively enrolled in a minimum of 12 semester hours during the fall and spring semesters.

• Applicants must be between the ages of 18-26 years old
• Maintain academic good standing (minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA)
• Have satisfactory student conduct history and criminal background check.
• Students enrolled in one Learning Support course may reside on campus provided they are enrolled in a traditional FYE course.
• Residents must be enrolled for 4 semester hours during the summer semester unless otherwise approved by the Director of Residence Life.
• All residents must abide by all laws and the policies of the University System of Georgia and Macon State College.
