APPLICATION PROCESS
Fall 2012 - Spring 2013 Residence Life Applicants:
All students applying for housing at Macon State must first apply for admission to the College. Visit http://www.maconstate.edu/admissions/appinstructions.aspx for Admissions information and for the online Admissions Application.
Residence Life application forms for the 2012-2013 year are available at the link below.
A $150 nonrefundable application fee is required with this application (check or money order payable to Macon State College by July 1 (fall semester) or by December 1 (spring semester). Residents will be eligible for an assignment upon acceptance from the Office of Admissions and completed registration of classes as noted in eligibility requirements included below. This contract agreement is a legally binding document for the full academic year (fall and spring semesters). Residents are financially responsible for all room charges once contract has been signed and apartment/suite key(s) has been accepted. |
Submission of an application and accompanying fees will not guarantee a room assignment. Upon approval of application, the Office of Residence Life will notify resident in writing of acceptance. Notification will include Residence Life Contract which must be completed and returned to the Office of Residence Life by August 1, 2012.
All residents must be accepted to Macon State College and be actively enrolled in a minimum of 12 semester hours during the fall and spring semesters. Applicants must be between the ages of 18-26 years old, maintain academic good standing, and have a satisfactory student conduct history and criminal background check. Students enrolled in one Learning Support course may reside on campus provided they are enrolled in a traditional FYE course. Residents must be enrolled for 4 semester hours during the summer semester unless otherwise approved by the Director of Residence Life. All residents must abide by all laws and the policies of the University System of Georgia and Macon State College. Macon State Residence Life communities are non-smoking and co-ed facilities. Individual four-person units are limited to single gender occupancy.
For premium consideration, submit completed application including required $150.00 Application Fee to the Macon State College Office of Residence Life no later than July 1, 2012.

- Submit completed application form and Application Fee to the Office of Residence Life, 100 College Station Drive, Macon, GA. 31206.
