HOLDS: Holds are placed on a student's record for a variety of reasons. (i.e. Regents' remediation or Learning Support advisement, missing admission documents, parking tickets, payment issues) that necessitates the student meeting with an advisor. Students returning to Macon State College, or are currently enrolled at Macon State College, who are in an academic probationary status must see an advisor. A student may resolve a hold in certain instances without meeting with an advisor by furnishing missing documentation, paying fines, or setting up an account with the Business Office. Students can register immediately upon removal of holds.
