Macon State now offers 13 bachelor's degrees, with 27 different majors. Those added recently include degrees in history, math and a pre-licensure bachelor's degree in nursing. Five of the college's 13 bachelor's degrees offer majors that qualify students to become certified as a teacher.
In addition, as a member of the University System of Georgia, Macon State offers degrees at an affordable, public education price. The Board of Regents has approved a new guaranteed tuition plan.
