Question Bubble Career Goals: “I want to go to law school, or perhaps get a Ph.D., and work in the field of international humanitarian law or work for the ACLU. “

Question Bubble He chose Macon State College because … “I could get my undergrad degree debt-free.”

Question Bubble The one thing that surprised him about Macon State was … “The dedication of the professors. They want to help students further expand their minds. I was also surprised at the number and variety of student organizations we have.”

Question Bubble His favorite professor is … “This is a tough one but I have three. First, Dr. Andrew Manis and Dr. Sheree Keith. They have taught me to never accept anything at face value. Instead, I should keep asking questions, explore all possibilities, stay educated, and then form my own opinions and thoughts. I think this is very important in a world where people watch three minutes of TV and then believe they are an expert on a topic. And then there is Dr. Mary Wearn, who is basically my academic mom. She is constantly pushing me to go above and beyond and never accepts mediocrity. She puts up with my shenanigans and if need be she can give me a swift kick to the butt to help me get back on track. Her office door is always open and she is constantly having to deal with me showing up at random times rambling about random topics, but she always listens and, oddly enough, always has an answer.”

Question Bubble His favorite place to study is … “My room because it’s open 24/7 and a coffee machine is 10 feet away. This is a perfect setup for when you have a paper due the next day.”

Question Bubble One thing people don't know about him is … “I have been a vegetarian for about eight years. You would be surprised to find out what seemingly innocent foods are not vegetarian-friendly.”

Question Bubble His friends make fun of him because … “I watch the shows 'Adventure Time' and ‘Flapjack’ which were probably created for the age range of 8-14.”

Question Bubble The one person he’d most like to meet is … “Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. She is a brilliant jurist and her interpretation of the Constitution is spot on. Her logic and reasoning is flawless and this shows in her judicial opinions. I think is also the only person who can pull off glasses circa 1984 and get away with it. That’s reason enough. ”

Question Bubble Five years from now he sees himself … “Finishing up law school and preparing to either take over the world or work on a Ph.D. Both are great options.”
