This includes supervising programs and activities and coordinating housing assignments, as well as selecting, training, and managing professional and student staff. I work to make sure that every resident has a safe, healthy, and well-balanced educational experience while living on campus.”
One thing people don’t know about Macon State is … “The word is spreading about our dynamic Residence Life program, which provides resident students increased opportunities for educational development and growth."
One thing people don’t know about him is … “I was a student-athlete in college. I played baseball at Brewton-Parker College."
What he likes to do in his spare time is … “Spend time with my wife and kids. I enjoy going to see the Braves and Thrashers in Atlanta.”
The one person he’d most like to meet is … “Dale Murphy from the Atlanta Braves. I grew up watching him and always idolized his playing style. He was truly a great player and a good role model of what hard work and dedication can do for you. He was not tainted by steroids in baseball, instead relying on his own talent and dedication to become a great player for the Braves. I hope one day he will be recognized in the Hall of Fame.”
What he likes best about working at Macon State is … “Being a part of an institution that works so hard to continually grow for the benefit of the students it serves. Being a part of bringing Residence Life to Macon State is a remarkable opportunity. I see this program as a major milestone for the students, faculty, and staff. Macon State is a place where new ideas and change are encouraged in order to constantly improve the student experience.”
