What he does on the job: “I manage the Wellness Center, which includes the fitness center, cardio theater, pool, gym, playing fields, tennis courts, and other areas that promote activity and wellness of the students. I develop incentive programs and offer opportunities for students to participate in multiple activities that promote health. I provide activities for students to have fun indoors and outdoors through free play, intramurals, events, club sports, and classes. In my department, we create opportunities for students to have new experiences and try new programs.”
One thing people don’t know about Macon State is … “We have many new and exciting events to engage students and give them new opportunities.”
One thing people don’t know about him is … “I spent a year working with kickers and punters from high school to the NFL.”
In his spare time he likes to … “Spend time with my family, watch my kids, play sports, especially tennis and golf (or any other sport I can get people together for), travel, and watch sports.”
The one person he’d most like to meet is … “Coach Mark Richt of the University of Georgia football program because I have been a Bulldogs fan my whole life. I love coaching and believe in Coach Richt’s motto of ‘Finish the Drill’ by putting all you have into what you are doing and finishing strong.”
What he likes best about working at Macon State is … “The opportunity to bring new and exciting events to the students, faculty, and staff and promote interaction among all patrons of the school. I like this best because it gives me the opportunity to be creative and try new things that people might not otherwise have the chance to experience.”
