I feel that this year of college will be my best one yet.”

Question Bubble She chose Macon State College because … “It was affordable and convenient. It also had a wide variety of times to choose from when it came to class scheduling. When I first started Macon State College I was glad it had a Warner Robins Campus. The college was about five minutes from my house and I loved it. Macon State College has definitely helped me in my career. It has given me the tools I need to build a professional resume and stay on track.”

Question Bubble The one thing that surprised her about Macon State was … “The college has a closed- circuit TV station. About a year ago, I wanted to get involved somehow at Macon State College. So I asked a friend if they knew of any opportunities. They directed me to MSC-TV. I was really excited that I could actually use a professional camera and make videos. When I started at MSC-TV, I decided to make documentary about the local artists in Macon. To my astonishment, I was later nominated for four awards. Within that same year, (former MSC-TV manager)Constantine Browning recommended me as the next managing director of MSC-TV. It was then that I really found my true calling to work in video production.”

Question Bubble Her favorite professor is … “Carolyn Rath (assistant professor of English). Every day she would ask me how I was doing and it meant a lot to me. Also, she always motivated to do well in school and stay focused.”

Question Bubble One thing people don't know about her is … “I'm an artist. I love to create landscape and abstract paintings. Painting is my stress reliever. I set up my work area in the house and get all the materials I need. I can spend up to three to four hours just painting. When I paint a picture I feel as if I'm in the painting as well. It keeps me focused and calm.”

Question Bubble Her friends make fun of her because … “I have a goofy personality sometimes. A co-worker came up with a silly nickname for me: Megatron. The nickname grew on me after a while. Every now and again, my friends will call me Megatron just for laughs.”

Question Bubble The one person she’d most like to meet is … “Audrey Hepburn. She had an elegance and grace about her that would capture any audience. I feel she was one of the greatest actresses of all time.”

Question Bubble Five years from now she sees herself … “As a filmmaker and a potential executive producer at a TV station, or as a director. I would like to be working on a major documentary or film.”
