Question Bubble Degree Objective: Bachelor of science in public service with a major in human services.

Question Bubble Activities: "I'm currently an active member of the Macon State Student Ambassador Program. I also participate in a flag football league played at Christ Chapel."

Question Bubble Career Goals: "After I graduate from Macon State I plan to enter the human services field and also attend graduate school, possibly law school. With these credentials I would like to possibly enter the public health sector, or maybe work for an international human aid organization."

Question Bubble He chose Macon State College because … "After living in Macon for a few years I desired to continue my education, and wanted to get the most out of my experience. I researched many schools in Atlanta and Middle Georgia, and in my opinion almost all of them were of equal or lesser quality to Macon State - and a lot more expensive. After looking into financial aid and scholarships I realized that if I worked hard I could graduate with with a four-year degree from Macon State with no debt."

Question Bubble The one thing that surprised him about Macon State was … "The wide range of degrees offered here. I have always been interested and involved in the human services field, and with the public service degree from Macon State I will be much more effective and marketable. Also, the quality of the professors Macon State has is quite impressive."

Question Bubble His favorite professor is … "I must choose? I have had great experiences with so many of them, Dr. Debra Matthews, Dr. Ervin Briones, Dr. Steven Wallace, just to name a few. Give me a few more semesters and maybe then I'll be able to choose."

Question Bubble His favorite place to study is … "Joshua Cup on Sunday afternoons. Even though I work there throughout the week I still enjoy being in the store with no distractions. The Joshua Cup is closed on Sundays. With large quantities of caffeine, the Internet and a quiet room at my disposal, I am able to focus on my academic work with no distractions. Did I mention I have access to espresso?!"

Question Bubble One thing people don’t know about him is … "I like to consider myself a 'Jack-Of-All-Trades,' so I enjoy learning about pretty much anything and everything. Now I just have to become a master of at least one."

Question Bubble His friends make fun of him because … "I have a hard time admitting that I'm wrong in an argument, and I play the 'devil's advocate' quite often in conversations."

Question Bubble The one person he'd most like to meet is … "The Apostle Paul. A great deal of Christianity is based on his writings. He has an amazing story and a faith that almost seems unattainable. Being able to learn from him firsthand would be challenging and inspiring."

Question Bubble Five years from now he sees himself ... "I have never been good at this question. Five years ago I would have never thought that I would be living in Macon. With that said, I could possibly see myself working for a non-profit organization, or be doing missionary work overseas. I'll add this caveat: 'I know, O LORD, that a man's life is not his own; it is not for man to direct his steps. Jer 10:23.'"
