She chose Macon State College because … “Primarily because I attended Macon State as a high school senior and I loved the professors and students. I was very impressed with the quality of the professors and I was surprised at the number of extracurricular activities students could become involved in. Also, the fact that Macon State offered an affordable education was very important in my decision to attend.”
The one thing that surprised her about Macon State was … “The quality of the food in the cafeteria.”
Her favorite professor is … “That is a difficult question. The history department has many interesting professors. However, my favorite professor would probably be Carol Melton. I've taken ‘Nineteenth Century Europe,’ ‘Civil War History’ and ‘Modern Germany’ from her. She is extremely informative and makes hilarious jokes during her lectures which keep me entertained.”
Her favorite place to study is … “Behind the Student Life Center by the lake.”
One thing people don't know about her is … "I've always wanted to go skydiving.”
Her friends make fun of her because … “I usually do all my schoolwork weeks (or months) before it is actually due.”
The one person she’d most like to meet is … “Probably Napoleon. His personality was apparently so extraordinary. I would love to get in the mind of someone who almost succeeded in taking over the world.”
Five years from now she sees herself … “With a master’s degree and maybe a doctorate.”
