She chose Macon State College because … “It is convenient to home and it is a great college. I love the small class sizes and the extra help you can get from your professors. The environment is wonderful and I get to meet a lot of people from different cultural backgrounds.”
The one thing that surprised her about Macon State was … “How many opportunities are here, and the friendly and helpful faculty and staff.”
Her favorite professor is … “Dr. Whitney Elmore, because she is a wonderful biology professor and she is very enthusiastic about the subject. She lectures in a way that helps you enjoy biology even if it’s not your favorite subject. She is very helpful and will go out of her way to help you learn the material.”
Her favorite place to study is … “At home, in my bedroom.”
One thing people don’t know about her is … “I am very family oriented, and I want to travel all over the world someday.”
Her friends make fun of her because … “I am very silly. They tell me that I should have been a comedienne or actress.”
The one person she would most like to meet is … “Barack Obama, because he is such a powerful political figure and he has made history, being the first black person to be the presidential nominee of a major party.”
Five years from now she sees herself … “Finished with my master’s degree, working at Robins, married, enjoying my family and career - and traveling all over the world.”
