Question Bubble Career goals: “I would like to become a senior-level manager in one of the many organizations at Robins Air Force Base. This will take many more years of education and training, and a corresponding commitment, but that is my goal. I feel the need to work for an organization, such as RAFB, that is so far-reaching in its efforts and products, but is also so pivotal to the local economy that I grew up in. It makes me feel that I am making a difference on a grander scale than I normally might, while still knowing that I am supporting the community that has supported me.”

Question Bubble He chose Macon State College because … “It is a great school that, fortunately for me, is local, relatively inexpensive and fits my lifestyle. I was working a full-time job and needed to be able to take classes around my work schedule. I needed a school that understood that need and could meet it. That school was, and still is, Macon State College. I am proud to be a student here because of the integral role it has played in meeting my needs, and the community needs for quality higher-education scheduled around ‘real life.’ ”

Question Bubble The one person he’d most like to meet is … “Gandhi. I would just like to be around a person with that amount of strength, conviction and charisma and who wore those traits in such a noble manner as he did.”

Question Bubble Five years from now he sees himself … “In a supervisory position at RAFB in one of the financial management directorates. I will have earned my MBA and will be continuing my education by receiving governmental financial management certificates necessary for my career advancement. I will be speaking (to anyone who will listen) about how proud I am to be a Macon State College graduate.”
