Current Employment: Full-time student; student assistant, Student Life.

Career Goals: “I want to be an accountant and work for the United Methodist Church handling and administrating money wisely.”
He chose Macon State College because … “It was close from home and I didn’t want to leave town. A lot of my friends go here and it was a good way to stay in contact with them. I also heard that Macon State College has a very successful business program.”
The one thing that surprised him about Macon State was … “The campus is growing and new facilities are being built. This college is always growing. I didn’t know that Macon State has a campus in Warner Robins. That surprised me because I believed that this was a small campus.”
His favorite professor is … “Dr. James Sission, I took English 1101 from him. I am not the best at reading or analyzing what I have read, but he had the patience to help me. He has helped me a lot in English because my native language is Spanish. I always had problems speaking and writing English but Dr. Sisson has helped me get better and I am grateful for his help.”
His favorite place to study is … “One place is the Library because it is one of the most quiet places to concentrate. I love going there because upstairs there are study rooms where it is so relaxing and I study there with a group or alone. The other place is in my room because I can shut the door there and just study quietly without no one interrupting me.”
One thing people don’t know about him is … “My parents are pastors of United Methodist churches. Also, I play soccer all the time.”
His friends make fun of him because … “I am always combing my hair. I like my hair to be slicked back always and if it is messed up I will take out my comb and comb it fast. I love to take care of my appearance.”
The one person he’d most like to meet is … “Steve Jobs, because I am a big fan of Apple. I believe that his products are the best in the technological field today.”
Five years from now he sees himself … “Working for the United Methodist Church, and working as a Spanish-English translator.”
