I was class president in the 10th and 11th grades, and on student council in the 9th, 10th and 11th grades. I performed in high school musicals all four years, and in the 12th grade I was president of FCA."

Question Bubble Current Employment: “I work as a substitute teacher in the Monroe County school system. Also, I am a camp counselor and I work as a lifeguard at Macon State.”

Question Bubble Degree Objective: Bachelor of science in early childhood education. “I would like to be a 5th grade teacher so that I can help students get a solid foundation for the middle grades.”

Question Bubble Class Rank: Sophomore.

Question Bubble Activities: “I am the president of the Macon State Rugby Club. I also enjoy free-play basketball in the gym and ping pong in the game room.”

Question Bubble He chose Macon State because … “It was really close to home. Also, Macon State has one of the best education degree programs in the state.”

Question Bubble The one thing that surprised him about Macon State was … “The small class sizes. When I pictured college I thought of 100 people in one classroom. But it’s not that way at Macon State. I really enjoy the small class sizes.”

Question Bubble His favorite professor is … “I have two: Sydney Chalfa and Dr. Sara Worley. They make learning enjoyable.”

Question Bubble One thing that people don’t know about him is … “I enjoy theater. I’ve been acting since I was about 6 or 7.”
