2009 FACULTY & STAFF CAMPAIGN
MOST SUCCESSFUL IN FOUNDATION HISTORY
With 77% campus-wide participation and $65,438 raised – up 15% from last year – the 2009 Macon State College Foundation Faculty and Staff Campaign is the most successful in an 11-year history.
The results were announced by Campaign co-chairs Nancy Bunker and Nikki Graham at a celebration breakfast at the Arts Complex Rehearsal Hall. Alex Koohang stood in for Marti Venn, chair of the Campaign’s Leadership phase, to announce 100% participation from campus administrators, deans and associate deans, whose contributions to the Campaign totaled $28,528.
Recognition was given to the areas with exceptional participation within the school or department. Recognized for 100% participation were: The A.R.C.; Communications & Marketing; Development & Alumni Affairs; Educational Technology Center; External Affairs; Financial Aid; Institutional Advancement; Office of the President; TRAC Center for Student Engagement; Warner Robins Campus; and Robins Residence Center. Recognized for 80% or higher participation were: Division of Learning Support, 96%; School of Education, 94%; Office of the Dean of Students, 91%; Academic Affairs, 88%; Department of Humanities, School of Arts & Sciences, 86%; Department of History & Political Science, School of Arts & Sciences, 86%; School of Information Technology, 89%; Office of Fiscal Affairs, 81%; and School of Business, 80%.
