When arriving at the Coliseum for the ceremony, please enter through the lobby area and proceed downstairs to the Monument Room. Graduates must be robed and in the Monument Room no later than 8:45 a.m.
Caps and gowns may be picked up at the College Bookstore (main campus) beginning Monday, April 28 and must be picked up no later than noon on Thursday, May 8.
During the Commencement exercises, students may wear only the regalia representing Macon State distinctions and/or recognized student organizations. Also, these additional suggestions are offered: Dark shoes are preferable; the cap should be placed on the head so the mortarboard is level and the tassel hangs on the right side.
The Office of Student Life offers invites all candidates for graduation to receive a FREE framed 5" x 7" photograph.
To be eligible, students must have submitted a Graduation Application to the Registrar’s Office by the April 1 deadline and must meet all requirements for graduation.
Caps and gowns will be provided. No appointment necessary.
