Interested in traveling and studying in China? Dr. Kathleen Grant, associate professor of sociology, is recruiting Macon State students for a study abroad trip there in spring 2013.
The trip is scheduled for May 8-June 6 and will cost about $3,850, which covers housing, cultural events, excursions, most meals, round-trip airfare and ground transportation. It does not include tuition and books. Students will be able to earn six credit hours during the four-week period, choosing from among 15 courses, all of which will be taught by University System of Georgia faculty. The trip is sponsored by the USG's Asia Council.
Sites students will visit include the Great Wall, Forbidden City, Olympic Park, Tiananmen Square and much more.
