Have you always wanted to study abroad but couldn't because of work or family responsibilities? A special study abroad trip to Scotland in May 2013 may give time-crunched students the opportunity of a lifetime.
Macon State's faculty representatives on the University System of Georgia's European Council are recruiting students for a two-week Maymester study abroad trip to Edinburgh. (Typically, study abroad trips last five weeks or longer.)
Participants will depart for Edinburgh on May 11 and return to Atlanta on May 24, 2013. The study abroad courses taken will be completed through on-site lectures, walking tours and group discussions coupled with readings, writing assignments and online lectures. Coursework will begin in the weeks before the trip begins and will continue online upon return. Students can take either one or two courses, for a total of six credits.
