We're closer to choosing a new mascot for Middle Georgia State College!

Students, faculty and staff of Macon State and Middle Georgia colleges, as well as the general public, are invited to give their input on the mascot name finalists under consideration. The list originally contained 10 proposed mascots, but one of them – Titans – was eliminated after it was learned it is in use by an area technical college. Thus, the list now contains 9 finalists.

The link below will take you to a site where you can submit your choice. The survey period will extend from today through Aug. 15, after which the results will be reviewed by a committee. It is anticipated that the selection of a mascot will be made at the committee’s next meeting on Thursday, Sept. 6.
