Phi Beta Lambda Team Wins National Award

A team representing Macon State's Phi Beta Lambda (Future Business Leaders of America) chapter recently took third place in a national competition sponsored by the PBL National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, Texas.

The team took the award in a competition category where members had to demonstrate their knowledge of parliamentary procedure. The award was part of a comprehensive national competitive events program sponsored by FBLA-PBL that recognizes and rewards excellence in a broad range of business and career-related areas. For many students, the competitive events are the capstone activity of their academic careers.

Macon State team members were Tradarius Johnson, Kathleen Waits, Stephanie Molnar Nauss and Marie Giordanella. Other PBL members attending the national conference were Ladonna Steele, Crystal Harris and Nedra Hobson.
