Macon State's food service options are expanding this summer to include a Subway sandwich shop on the first floor of the Student Life Center.

Grand opening will take place at 7:30 a.m. Monday, June 11. The Subway is located directly across from the entrance to the cafeteria.

Summer semester hours for Subway are 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Kevin Reid, the college's director of auxiliary services, said Macon State bookstore profits helped fund the new Subway. Reid said food service will also be expanded on the Warner Robins Campus this fall. A planned recreation and wellness center on the Macon Campus will include a Pizza Hut franchise.
