Seminar To Help Children Succeed In School

Macon State teacher education majors will lead a seminar for parents on how to prepare children ages 2-5 to succeed in school. The seminar will include info sessions for parents and fun activities for children. Activities will also be provided to older siblings. The seminar, which is free and open to the public, will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 23, in room 102 of the Academic Services Building of the Macon State College Warner Robins Campus.
 
Please email communityprojects101@gmail.com to sign up (leave your name, contact number and number of participants). There are also sign-up sheets in the admissions offices on both the Warner Robins and Macon campuses. Participants will be served snacks and have a chance to win door prizes. Each child will receive a free book and flashcards.
