Board of Regents Formally Approves Consolidation Of Macon State College and Middle Georgia College

The Harold F. Tipton Memorial Scholarship is named for the late information security industry pioneer.

Students will use the new learning management system for spring semester classes.

The four institutions, including Middle Georgia State College, will have new missions, academic programs and direction.

The project will, among other things, advance research into ways of enhancing agricultural practices and production.

The ceremony will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, in the gymnasium of the Macon Campus.

Qualified Gwinnett Tech grads will soon be able to transfer seamlessly to Macon State's IT program.

In voting that took place over two days, nearly 91 percent of students who participated were in favor of the image ultimately chosen.

The club defeated Southwestern Connecticut Prep 27-8.

The $21.5 million center will be located on the north side of the campus lake near the student residential community.
