Foundation Welcomes New Trustees
Four Central Georgia leaders representing business and the legal
profession have joined the Macon State College Foundation as members
of the Board of Trustees:

Isaac J. Culver III, co-founder, president
and CEO of Progressive Consulting Technologies Inc. A graduate
of Mercer University, Culver is a member of 100 Black Men of
Middle Georgia and serves on the boards of the Central Georgia
Technology Alliance, Middle Georgia Boy Scouts, United Way of
Central Georgia and the Knight Foundation. |

Edward D. Lukemire, Superior Court Judge
for the Houston Judicial Circuit. A Macon State College graduate,
Lukemire also received degrees from Mercer University and Mercer’s
Walter F. George School of Law. A former District Attorney for
the Houston Judicial Circuit and adjunct law instructor at Mercer,
Lukemire has served on the Georgia Commission on Family Violence,
the Georgia Supreme Court Committee on Substance Abuse and the
Courts and the Houston County Family Violence Prevention Council. |

Charlotte E. McMullan, CPA with Macon’s
McMullan & McMullan accounting firm. McMullan is chair of
the Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Macon
Economic Development Commission. Voted a Woman of Achievement
by the Career Women’s Network, McMullan serves on the
boards of the Adopt-A-Role-Model Program and Kids Voting Georgia.
She also serves on NewTown Macon’s executive committee. |

James B. Patton, Executive Vice President
and Commercial Line of Business Manager — Georgia Region,
SunTrust Bank. A University of Georgia graduate, Patton is a
former Macon City Council representative. He serves on the boards
of United Way of Central Georgia, Community Foundation, NewTown
Macon and Georgia Workforce Investment Board. Patton also serves
on the Macon Economic Development Commission and is a member
of Leadership Georgia’s Class of 2000. |
