Management.

The Institute for Information Management, Macon State College’s
technology outreach arm, is introducing a series of classes specifically
designed to help business, government and Robins Air Force Base
increase productivity through the power of information technology.
Beginning in May, the Institute will offer a series of fee-based
courses designed to fill technology needs outlined by public and
private sectors in Central Georgia. Fee-based courses allow the
Institute, which also offers a variety of free seminars and workshops,
to be financially self-sustaining. The courses will focus on practical
solutions to challenges faced by course participants in their work
environments:
May
- Benchmarking
- Lean (RAFB Program)
June
- Transforming Business Through Information Management, Phase
I
- Business Process Reengineering (BPR)
- Strategic Planning
July
- Transforming Business Through Information Management, Phase
II
- Management in Technology Rich Environments
- Improving Network Security
Each course provides a total of 40 classroom hours. Classes will
meet half days so students can spend time in their workplaces the
other half. For more information on the courses listed, contact
