Get the GALILEO Password

A password is needed to access GALILEO from off-campus.  GALILEO and other password information is available through "Access My GIL Account" in the online catalog, GIL.

• Connect to GIL (gil.maconstate.edu)
• Click on the link labeled "Get GALILEO Password"
• Type in the 9-digit institution ID number (student ID number) from the back of your MSC ID card.
• Type in your PIN number (if you don't have a Pin number, click on "Get My Pin" under "Login to My Account" and one will be emailed to your MSC email address)
• Type your last name
• Click "Login to My Account "
• The current GALILEO password will appear first in the window
• Always click on "Logoff Your Account" when finished
