Unemployment Compensation
Macon State College is a covered employer under the provisions of the Unemployment Compensation Law. The Human Resources Department issues Separation Notices to all employees who are ending their employment relationship with the University System of Georgia. These notices may be taken to any Georgia Department of Labor office if and when a past employee wishes to file for unemployment benefits.
