During a new employee's first week of employment, an employee orientation will be conducted. Every employee must attend an orientation session before they can be placed on the payroll.
During the orientation program, the employee will learn about the insurance programs, vacation and leave benefits, retirement programs, the workweek and hours of work and other benefits.
Other information regarding college policies and the answers to most general questions will be discussed. IF the employee needs special assistance with the orientation, the HR office should be contacted. Every effort will be made to provide accomodation.
After orientation, the employee will be asked to complete a new employee forms package which includes benefits enrollment forms, tax forms, and other required information.
