Dependent Care Spending Accounts

The dependent care spending account allows employees to pay for dependent care expenses with pre-tax dollars by allowing pre-tax contributions to a flexible spending account.  Employees can set aside a portion of their salary each year in a dependent care account. Contact the Human Resources office for more information or to acquire an application. Applications are submitted to the Human Resources Office during the open enrollment period, and are effective the following January 1.

Medical Spending Account

The medical spending account allows employees to pay for medical expenses that are not covered by health insurance with before-tax dollars by making pre-tax contributions to a medical spending account. Reimbursement will be made as expenses are incurred and claims are presented. Covered expenses include, but are not limited to, annual deductibles, co-payments, and out-of-pocket vision and dental expenses. Employees may set aside a portion of their salary each year in a Medical Spending Account. Contact the Human Resources office for more information or to acquire an application. Applications are submitted to the Human Resources Office during the open enrollment period, and are effective the following January 1.
