Instructions on Using Banner Web to view Financial Aid Information

Click on the BANNER Web shortcut on our website (www.maconstate.edu). Log in using your MSC ID number as your User ID. The first time you log in, your birthday will be your password. You should change your password to protect your privacy.

1. To confirm receipt of documents or check for missing documents:
   
   
   1. Click on 'Financial Aid' Tab
   2. Click on ‘Eligibility'
   3. Click on 'Student Requirements'
   4. Select "Academic Year" (if required)
   5. Click 'Submit'
2. To check your Financial Aid Satisfactory Progress Status:
   
   
   1. Click on 'Financial Aid' Tab
   2. Click on 'Eligibility'
   3. Click on 'Academic Progress'
   4. Select "Academic Year" (if required)
   5. Click 'Submit'
3. To review financial aid holds (which may prevent payment of awards)
   
   
   1. Click on Financial Aid Tab
   2. Click on 'Eligibility'
   3. Click on 'Holds'
   4. Select "Academic Year" (if required)
   5. Click 'Submit'
4. To review award notification and/or Accept and Decline loan awards:
   
   
   1. Click on Financial Aid Tab
   2. Click on 'Award'
   3. Click on 'Award by Aid Year'
   4. Select "Academic Year" (if required)
   5. Click on 'Award Overview'
   6. Click "Accept Award Offer" after making selections and leaving comments (if applicable)
   7. Click submit information
5. To check disbursements/Memo/Authorization: NOTE: During pre-registration, your financial aid funds will be memo/authorized to alert the business office to secure your classes. It will also advise you of date funds are expected to disburse to your MSC account. To review account:
   
   
   1. Click on Student Tab
   2. Click on 'Account Detail by Term'
   3. Select Term
