The SAT and SAT Subject Tests are tools designed to assess a student’s academic readiness for college. The SAT is an admission test that lets you show colleges and universities what you know and how well you can apply that knowledge. It tests your knowledge in reading, writing and math.
The tests are administered through the policies and procedures established by Educational Testing Service (ETS). These policies and procedures and registration information can be found in the registration bulletins for the test or on their web site: www.collegeboard.org
