MSCC 1000 is a one-credit-hour, totally online, totally self-paced course.

  • The course is a co-requisite for the three-credit-hour “Perspectives . . .” courses offered by Macon State College and pertains mainly to different technologies used at the College.
  • The combined four hours satisfy Area B requirements in your academic course of study.
  • Some basic information about the MSCC 1000 course:
    • MSCC 1000 grades
      • “A“ grades are earned by attaining course exam scores from 81 to 100.
      • “B” grades are earned by attaining course exam scores from 60 to 80.
      • “F” grades will be assigned to students that don’t pass the course exam.
    • You must pass the test covering the information found in the course tutorials.
    • The passing score for the 50-question, multiple-choice test is a grade of 60 or better.
    • You get two chances to take and pass the test.  If you do not pass the test after the second attempt, you will receive a grade of “F” for the course.
    • Additionally, if you never attempt the test, you will receive a grade of “F” for the course.
