Honor Society

Purpose

The Honor Society recognizes and promotes the academic achievement of students enrolled in baccalaureate programs at Macon State College.

Membership Criteria

To be a member of the Honor Society, a Macon State student must:

• Have junior or senior standing,
• Have a cumulative academic grade point average of 3.5 or higher,
• Have a declared major and
• Be enrolled in a baccalaureate program at the College.

Membership Process

An invitation will be issued each semester. Students must complete an application and pay a one-time fee of $25.

Member Benefits

A membership pin and certificate are awarded to the accepted students at the pinning ceremony, and the students have the privilege of wearing a gold stole and tassel at the College's commencement ceremony.
